wxMaxima Tutorial

wxMaxima is a GUI for the computer algebra system Maxima, and designed to work with wxMaxima document format (wxm file). Here is an example of the file with .wxm extension. Try to download and open it with wxMaxima.

This document consists of 'cells'. If you move the mouse on the left border of the main screen a braclet appears on the left border, indicating each cell. It has a different type of either 'text' or 'input'. An input cell holds computer algebra code and can be evaluated with [Shift]+[Enter]. Any output will be attached into the output part of the input cell.
