Creating folders

Inside e-Statistics website manager (gomngr.cgi) you can find the button [Create] with input box. Type a folder name of your choice in the input box and click [Create] to create a new folder. For example, if we create a new folder, say “example,” the new folder is immediately generated and accessible at
math.tntech.edu/e-math/guide/example
under the current folder math.tntech.edu/e-math/guide/.

When a new folder is created, the link to the newly created folder shows up in the list of folders under the button [Create]. Choose the link, and you can move to the new folder. At the new folder you can start the following:

  1. Click [Top] to set a title of new page, and create an extra announcement which will appear at the top-right corner of webpage.
  2. Click [New] button to generate the first page content. Then type a section title of your choice and click [Edit] to write the content inside the textarea.
  3. When you complete the content, click [Save], and click [Update] button to create the website with the first page content.
  4. Once you create the first page, click the link to the first page and you can select [New] button to create the second page under the first page, and so on.

In order for the navigation bar to include other URL's or folders a little trick is needed: If the title of section (or subsection) has a part of title bracketed, it is understood as a URL. For example,

[example]An Example of New Folder

has the folder under http://math.tntech.edu/e-math/guide/example specified by the square brackets.
